Just For Fun

Imagine there is a circle and inside the circle there are people ...

let's call them the 'cool' people  ...

Now imagine being on the outside looking in ...

To get inside you have to do something deemed worthy by the 'cool' people ...

That is the only way inside the circle ... Some truly desire to become the 'cool' people

It is my belief all of us have been on the outside looking in ...

We have all wanted to be accepted and validated ... by the 'cool' people ...

At one time or another ... some of us more than just one time

Now imagine a circle and inside are people ... lets call them the 'cool' people ...

Now imagine being on the outside looking in ...

While looking inside ... from the outside ... believe and see that inside that circle there are boundaries and limits ...

Look closer ... could it actually be a box?

This is a humorous thought to me ...

As those inside the 'cool' place look out and laugh ...

Those  outside ... look inside and laugh ...

Just for Fun

2 Questions

I found a quiz that I answered sometime ago

It was tucked in a book

It asked two little questions;

1. What is something I am excited about happening.

2. What is something I am worried about happening.

As I read the answers...

I smiled as I read my answer to number 1.

Remembering right away...

Now a  fond memory

It was greater than I expected

I smiled when I read my answer to number 2.

Struggling  to recall 'if' it happened.

Remembering - it was not as I imagined...

It really had no importance.

I did make it through and I learned from it.

Lesson learned...

It is all just 'stuff' in our head

Focus on the Good 'stuff' ...

This applies in every area of your life !

Master Mind Group!

Henry Ford had some rather interesting friends. And, I guess, if you were smart and rich in the early part of the twentieth century, you would, too. The book, Uncommon Friends by James Newton, tells about the friendship Henry Ford shared with the author as well as Thomas Edison, Harvey Firestone, Alexis Carrel and Charles Lindbergh. Now, that’s a mastermind group, eh?!
I mean, you’ve got all the big wigs with some pretty impressive credentials. These were not some spoiled rich kids who inherited their money. They were all self-made men.

Henry Ford: Cars and the modern assembly line.
Thomas Edison: umm, electricity among other things. A lot of other things.
Harvey Firestone: Made the first tires for the Model T and then made a huge fortune off said tires.
Alexis Carrel: Nobel prize-winning surgeon who figured out how to suture blood vessels and prevent infection during surgery.
Charles Lindbergh: Hot shot aviator and the 1st to make a solo flight across the Atlantic Ocean. He actually helped design the Boeing 747.
These people were not only contemporaries, but friends. They bounced ideas off each other. Carrel and Lindbergh invented an artificial heart together. Firestone’s ideas helped get the Model T on the road. It was running on bicycle tires and Ford knew that wouldn’t work for long. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall during some of their talks. Can you imagine? Wow.

We love to master mind with you!

Why Customers are so Important

If you're struggling to recruit business builders into your biz, turn your focus to customers. Customers are the lifeblood of any business and should be a big part of your business. Customers are also much much easier to acquire for the new person just getting started in the industry. If you can't attract customers to your business, you might really want to look at your company numbers in terms of customer acquisition. Unfortunately, many products in the direct selling industry would not sell if there were not a biz opportunity attached to it. I know, as I have been in companies like that previously I would not be in a company like that again today.
Another great reason to recruit customers is if people like the product they tend to re-order, especially if your product is a consumable. I've also had a few customers turn into distributors, which can even add more dollars to your bank account. Once somebody is hooked on the product, it is always much easier to get them hooked on the business opportunity as well.

If you're interested in a home based business or feel your products in your company are not really all that attractive outside of your distributor camp then check out my business, where we have a 9 to 1 customer acquisition (2nd highest in the industry)www.jimdenise.com

Life Compared to a Bow and Arrow

Life compared to a bow and arrow
What 'if'
We are the arrow and life is the bow
We know an arrow can only be shot forward by first pulling it backwards
What 'if'
When life seems to be pulling us backwards with challenges,
Rememeber... we are the arrow and life is the bow!
What 'if''

We let go of resistance ... by accepting
What 'if'
Then we soar into greatness?

Story Time

  • Story Time:

A business executive was deep in debt and could see no way out. Cre...ditors were closing in on him. Suppliers were demanding payment.

He sat on the park bench, head in hands, wondering if anything could save his company from bankruptcy.

Suddenly an old man appeared before him.
“I can see that something is troubling you,” he said.

After listening to the executive’s woes, the old man said, “I believe I can help you.”

He asked the man his name, wrote out a check, and pushed it into his hand saying, “Take this money. Meet me here exactly one year from today, and you can pay me back at that time.”

Then he turned and disappeared as quickly as he had come. The business executive saw in his hand a check for $500,000, signed by John D. Rockefeller, then one of the richest men in the world! “I can erase my money worries in an instant!” he realized. But instead, the executive decided to put the un-cashed check in his safe. Just knowing it was there might give him the strength to work out a way to save his business, he thought.

With renewed optimism, he negotiated better deals and extended terms of payment. He closed several big sales. Within a few months, he was out of debt and making money once again.

Exactly one year later, he returned to the park with the un-cashed check. At the agreed-upon time, the old man appeared.

But just as the executive was about to hand back the check and share his success story, a nurse came running up and grabbed the old man. “I’m so glad I caught him!” she cried. “I hope he hasn’t been bothering you. He’s always escaping from the rest home and telling people he’s John D. Rockefeller. ” And she led the old man away by the arm.

The astonished executive just stood there, stunned. All year long he’d been wheeling and dealing, buying and selling, convinced he had half a million dollars behind him. Suddenly, he realized that it wasn’t the money, real or imagined, that had turned his life around. It was his new found self-confidence that gave him the power to achieve anything he ever imagined...
