Ask for it~be Aware~take Action~be Grateful

Ask for it~ be Aware ~ take Action~ be Grateful

We made a decision to donate 10% of the money that passes through us.
We usually donate to a charity, the charity usually presents itself to us, example a friend of ours lost a love one to a drunk driver ~ MADD, another friend lost a loved one to cancer~ American Cancer Society, another has a family member with diabetes American Diabetes Foundation. Sometimes RAK (Random Act of Kindness) paying for someone you do not know at the toll booth, McDonalds drive thru or someones dinner without being identified.
Gives us a GoOD feeling!!!
A few weeks ago we had an idea... What if we found someone who by outward appearances could afford to pay for extra's and we paid for them... Would they be inspired to "Pay It Forward?" Sharing this idea with others and of course the universe...
Asking for it~being Aware of it~taking Action~ feeling Grateful!!!
We were invited to the First Meet-Up ... BBB Breakfast~Business-Bunch... This was a different format~ Brain Storming with heart !!!
When it was over everyone had left except the organizer and us (Jim & denise) as we approached the cashier each of us with bills in hand we realized this was not exactly what we had talked about ... Yet we were moved to make this part of our 10% ... We know this woman Shelley Costello pays it forward every single day!!!
Imagine if we act in could reverse
be Grateful~take Action~ be Aware~Ask for it
We would all be racing to Pay It Forward First...

What you welcome will appear

Jim and I made a choice to welcome GoOD experiences people share. Seems like everyday we hear more and more... Could it be you really find what you are open to? I believe the answer is YES...
Sean is a hair stylist in Boca Raton, driving to and from work he listens to talk radio . He is as intelligent as he is talented, he enjoys and retains information and knowledge. He has a lot interests , one is natural health and modern day technology. Sharing conversations with his client is a benefit of his career. One day a client comes in and she had tears in her eyes and tells him " Sean, you changed my life"
He asks why... In a previous visit she told Sean. She was in a serious car accident , the results of going through the windshield she had a concussion. She was telling how she was still having trouble, that was interfering with her everyday life, to the point of her not being able to function in her normal capacity. Dr's claimed it was normal and should be better in 2-3 months. That time plus more had passed and she was getting worse. When she would wake up she did not know who she was or where she was. How frightening is that,is any wonder how a person could become dangerously depressed ? She moved backed home with her parents. Sean had heard on the way to work about PCS (post concussion syndrome) and how Berkeley University in CA was having success in helping people with similar troubles . She went home goggled it, research it ...and actually went to Berkeley, and was seen by the doctors there...She is now being treated and has quality back in her life...
life is hard... still it is simple...

How simple ... He cared...He listened...he shared... she listened... she believed...she cared and took action...and took the time to come back and say Thank You... Life is GoOD and this is just another example... of paying it forward...

Thats just who you are:

Yesterday Denise and I had to run a few errands. We stopped and filled up with gas, hey what’s up, gas price up 13 cents in two days. I thought the price per barrel had drifted back down over the past few weeks. Anyways, second stop Costco, with a family of five we buy in bulk.

Last stop was the grocery store for some misc. items. As we entered the check outline Denise looked down and saw an envelope, she bent over picked it up and noticed it was filled with a large number of bills; a $50.00 was on top. Without hesitation she asked the clerk who was just here, he replied a lady with a red coat. Denise showed him the envelope and he reached for it as did two other store employees’ that over heard the brief conversation. They insisted they would” take care of it”.

At this point Denise declined the offer and immediately sprinted out the front door with one employee following closely behind. She spotted the lady with the red coat, of course she had parked in the last spot from the store, makes me wonder if that was some help from above. Had she parked closer, most likely she would have driven away before Denise was able to reach her.

Driving home we chatted about what had just occurred. She has tremendous instincts and believes and follows them. She said the three store employees were just too anxious to relieve her of the envelope with the cash. She said at that moment, she knew she would find the rightful owner and insure she got her cash back. Not to say the employees wouldn’t have, they did seem more interested in the cash than finding the red coated lady. We have no idea how much cash was in the envelope, doesn’t really matter. Denise estimated the ladies age in the mid 70’s. Most likely the cash was her monthly social security or retirement pension.

I looked at her, felt the thrill of gratitude, smiled and said “that’s just who you are”.
