'I am a self made (fill in the blank)'
No one ever helped me...
I did it all alone...
My parents were were never there for me...
They were addicts, to work, drugs, alcohol etc...
I was abused ...
I was born in poverty...
I am sure there are many more!
I feel a disconnection when I hear this
Even if your parents were the worst imaginable
Even if you were born and raised
in the worst conditions ever!
You are NOW alive...can speak and think!
Someone had to feed you, cloth you,
take care of you in sickness and health
until you could do it 'YOURSELF.
No matter what condition you were born into.
You grew inside of someone until your birth!
Someone of many took care of you until
you could survive on your own!
You have life ... so you have purpose!
I AM grateful for my life!!!
Today is the anniversary of my Birth...
My birthday...
Thank You, God for blessing me everyday!
Thank You, mother for allowing me to be born!
Thank You, father for your guidance!
Thank You, to my children
who taught me about loving life!
Thank You, to my grandchildren
who love me unconditionally!
Thank You, to all my family, friends,
for your faith and belief in me!
Thank You to those who had no faith in me...
and repeatedly told me so!
It is all of you that helped me become
the success I AM today ♥
