"Whats wrong?"
Meaning well with our intent
to be of service and help!
Being a believer and a practicing student
of positive growth,
LOA, and wanting to serve others...
It came through to me...
Why not ask "Whats right?"
So I did just that...Asking myself..."Whats right?"
What I joyfully thought of was... "Whats right!"
I began to notice when someone asks me a
question my mind immediately answered.
Even if the question had no real meaning to me,
even if I did not answer the question verbally ...
it interrupted my own thought process.
When I asked others random questions...
Their responses were different yet...
I believe it also interrupted their thought process.
Observing friends and family
when asked questions by others...
Same pattern.
Observing people in public...
restaurants, stores and other service industries,
what I noticed was there was always a reaction
even 'if' the person being asked was preoccupied
and didnot really 'hear' the question...
They would respond with a 'huh', 'ok' or a 'what?'
I noticed when someone would ask a question
then not wait for a response... more like a trained statement ...examples
"How are you?"
"How may I help you?"
"Everything ok?"
"Are you ok? "
when the person asked the question would start to
automatically answer, you could almost sense a state of embarrassment.
This was a reminder to me that in this world of
multi-tasking to be-aware...
take time to notice...
Questions are not just words...
they have a powerful way of making an impression.
They do interrupt the thought process.
ask others questions...
and listen for your answers!
You may learn something !
